PALS (Philadelphia Alliance for Labor Support)
PALS is a network of volunteer doulas who provide services for women who would not otherwise be able to afford the services of a doula or who are open to working with a newer doula so they can gain experience. In some cases, if the client is able to pay some they can offer a significantly reduced rate.
Huge thank you to Ali Nebistinsky (Philly mom and birth doula) for so much of this information!
